As such, I am aware of all the major series, and when Mary E. Lately I’ve strayed more towards (auto)biographies, but YA Fantasy will always hold a special place in my heart. It is the genre I go to when I just want something to read that will keep me occupied and be a fun and enjoyable read. If I had to pick a favorite genre of of the past year, it would be Young Adult Fantasy.
